Abstracts from Aegis Sciences Corporation Chosen for CLMA’s KnowledgeLab 2017

Nashville, TN – March 31, 2017 – Abstracts from several Aegis Sciences Corporation team members were chosen for exhibition on March 26-29, 2017 at the Clinical Laboratory Management Association’s (CLMA) annual event, KnowledgeLab 2017.

Participation in CLMA’s Increasing Clinical Effectiveness (ICE) initiative required the submission of abstracts that describe improved patient outcomes associated with testing-related interventions. Submissions were reviewed by the KnowledgeLab programming committee and judged on accuracy of data, clearness of message, originality, practical use in the lab, and overall presentation.  All abstracts that met submission criteria were invited to create a poster for display at KnowledgeLab.

Posters chosen from Aegis in the Clinical/Research category included A CURIOUS CASE OF CONTRARY CONCENTRATIONS: DRUG INTERACTION VS GENETIC POLYMORPHISM by Josh Schrecker, Pharm.D, Ali Roberts, Pharm.D., BCPS, Melissa Oswald, M.S., Rebecca Heltsley, Ph.D., and Matthew Hardison, Ph.D., FACMG, REDUCTION OF QC MATERIAL CONSUMPTION DURING A LABORATORY PROCESS CHANGE by Hannah R. Lane, MBA, CSSGB, and Kristie Shafer M.S., PMP, CSSGB, and SOLVENT RECYCLING INSUPPORT OF REDUCING SPENDING AND WASTE by Ryan Crosby, Patrick Campbell, and Megan Bailey.

Posters chosen from Aegis in the Leadership category included THE IMPACT OF INTEGRATING PROJECT MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES IN LABORATORY OPERATIONS by Sarah Coble, PMP and Neal Goodwin, PMP and REDUCE RECEIVING ERRORS IN THE HEALTHCARE LABORATORY by Cheryl Hild, Ph.D., Kelsi Mason, and Katie Heinemann, PMP.
