Oracle Database Administrator

The Oracle Database Administrator is responsible for all aspects of Oracle LIMS databases architecture and management ensuring their performance, availability and security.  Additional responsibilities include the use of technical knowledge to assist in strategic planning and providing Oracle LIMS support to users and customers.  Eligible candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years experience in Oracle PL/SQL and five or more years of regular use of complex SQL, PL/SQL (use of temp tables, packages, stored procedures, and user defined functions).  Experience in ETL development, database (OLTP and Warehouse) application development and proficiency in Oracle based tools like SQL *Plus, SQL *Loader and Toad strongly preferred.  Ideal candidate will have experience administering Oracle in Horizon LIMS.
