Laboratory Instrument Engineer
The Laboratory Instrument Engineer is responsible for minimizing the downtime of instruments throughout the Aegis laboratory. This individual will troubleshoot instruments, conduct necessary instrument repairs as needed, and complete preventative maintenance as scheduled. The Lab Instrument Engineer will work with vendors to coordinate instrument delivery and installation, service, and repairs. The selected individual will alert management of any risks which could impact health, safety or production goals.
Qualified candidates for this position must have:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field
- Mechanical and/or Electrical aptitude
- Experience working with LC, GC, MS, MS/MS, Immunoassay and/or liquid handling
- Strong computer skills. Experience working with software strongly preferred.
- The ability to communicate effectively with others
Candidates for this position must be available for rotating shifts.
