Forensic Laboratory Manager
The Forensic Laboratory Manager will manage all specified aspects of Post-Mortem and Sports Testing Services operations within Aegis Sciences Corporation. The selected individual will oversee daily workflow management and modify work patterns and processes as needed to verify that turn-around-time objectives are met in collaboration with Laboratory Directors and others in the management team. The Lab Manager will ensure efficient and effective operations, including a focus on quality control, compliance, and lab safety. The selected candidate will also assist Laboratory Directors and Research & Development in troubleshooting production methods and identifying new methods as needed.
The Forensic Lab Manager will be responsible for team member training and development, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Additionally, the selected individual will assist Laboratory Directors in determining utilization, cost analyses and annual budgeting needs.
Qualified candidates for this position must have:
- A B.S. Degree in Natural Sciences, plus 7 years of experience in laboratory sciences or a M.S. Degree in Natural Sciences, plus 5 years of experience in laboratory sciences
- Professional certification to hold or acquire NYSDOH and TNDOH Supervisor qualification
- Demonstrated organizational skills
