Certifying Scientist – Healthcare Labs
The Certifying Scientist will confirm and report findings as the result of scientific testing and analysis on each sample within specified turnaround time. This individual will use specialized instrumentation and software within the laboratory, including but not limited to: GC/MS, and LC/MS/MS. As needed, the Certifying Scientist will be responsible for loading and unloading samples and performing maintenance on a variety of instruments in the Mass Spectrometry lab.
Qualified candidates must possess:
· A B.S. or post-graduate degree in Chemistry or a related field
· 1-3 years experience in a laboratory environment working with specialized laboratory instruments (preferably GC/MS, LC/MS, and/or LC/MS/MS)
